Precise Manipulation of Amino Groups in Zr-MOFs for Efficient Adsorption Performance

Developing high-performance adsorbents for heavy metal (Cr (VI)) removal is essential sustainable environments, but it still challenging. Herein, a simple solvothermal method was proposed to fabricate Zr-MOFs (UiO-66), which innovatively modified by amino groups enhance the adsorption capacity of Cr (VI). The effects content amino-functionalized ligands on and influence adsorbent content, solution pH, time, temperature process were systematically investigated. Importantly, pore structure defect UiO-66 can be finely regulated adjusting modification process. fitted analyzed using kinetic model isotherm model. Impressively, amino-modified (UiO-66-NH2) greatly improved. These findings indicate that surface functional group MOFs promising their improving capacity.
